GETCO2’s university partners include 7 Australian universities, and 5 international universities supporting our research and activity portfolios.

Our international university partners are Surrey University, Technical University of Denmark, University of Toronto, Washington University in St Louis and University of Delaware.

Our 7 industry partner organisations span much of the value chain of carbon circular economy, ranging from large multinational sustainable technology firms (Johnson Matthey), national research institute (CSIRO), government agency (Queensland Department of the Environment, Tourism, Science and Innovation, DESI), and clean-tech and advanced materials start-ups and SMEs (GrapheneX, Zeotech), material suppliers (Grain Research and Development Corporation, GRDC) and respected consultants to the energy and water industries (Oakley Greenwood Pty Ltd).

The strong backing from government and industry indicates GETCO2’s strength in alignment with the cross sector targets for net zero emissions by 2050, and aspirations for a circular economy which supports sustainable development and resource recovery.
