Our international university partners are Surrey University, Technical University of Denmark, University of Toronto, Washington University in St Louis and University of Delaware.
Our 7 industry partner organisations span much of the value chain of carbon circular economy, ranging from large multinational sustainable technology firms (Johnson Matthey), national research institute (CSIRO), government agency (Queensland Department of Environment and Science), and clean-tech and advanced materials start-ups and SMEs (GrapheneX, Zeotech), material suppliers (GRDC) and respected consultants to the energy and water industries (Oakley Greenwood).
The strong backing from Queensland Department of Environment and Science indicates GETCO2’s strength in alignment with the Government’s target of net zero emissions by 2050, and aspirations for a circular economy which supports sustainable development and resource recovery.
